Basketball Game Preview: Chichester Eagles vs. Chester Clippers

Chichester hasn't had much luck against Chester recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chichester Eagles will challenge the Chester Clippers at 7:00 p.m. Chichester has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Chichester beat Unionville 64-60.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chester, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They snuck past Mount Pleasant with a 52-47 win on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Clippers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 310th in Pennsylvania, while the Green Knights are ranked 18th in Delaware).

Chichester is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Chester, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Chichester came up short against Chester in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 56-47. Can Chichester avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
