Softball Recap: Sunapee Comes Up Short

Sunapee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Woodsville Engineers, falling 13-4. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Engineers earlier this season, when they won 17-9.

Sunapee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Woodsville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunapee is set to take on their familiar foe Hinsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodsville will square off against rival Groveton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
