Basketball Recap: Wittenberg-Birnamwood's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Wittenberg-Birnamwood extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Rory Salvesen. The Chargers took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 73-14 win over the Manawa Wolves with plenty of help from Salvesen, who almost dropped a double-double with 30 points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 47.1% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Melaina Granquist, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 boards. Granquist is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood's record now sits at 5-0. As for Manawa, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
