Soccer Recap: Leuzinger Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Leuzinger's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lawndale Cardinals a 1-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Olympians: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in January, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Leuzinger has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven contests. As for Lawndale, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6-2.

As of now, neither Leuzinger nor Lawndale have any future games scheduled.
