There's no place like home for Rockford Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Harvest Christian Academy Lions 57-28 on Thursday. The Royal Lions haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Shea Ludwig continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5-for-9 on her way to 17 points and eight boards. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Josie Becker was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points and six boards.

Rockford Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harvest Christian Academy only racked up four assists.

Loss or not, Harvest Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Daphne Brown and Alyssa Burke. Brown posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Burke earned three points and 12 boards.

Rockford Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Harvest Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Rockford Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Winnebago at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-10 victory against Westminster Christian on the 15th.
