Basketball Recap: Caruthersville Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Caruthersville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the St. Mary's South Side Dragons on Friday, falling 95-58.

Looking ahead, Caruthersville will challenge Dyer County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Choctaws have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Mary's South Side, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Miller Career Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
