Recap: Huss vs. Patton
Huss won against Patton the last time the two teams met, and Huss decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Huss crushed Patton 49-0. 49 seems to be a good number for Huss as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their previous game.
No one had a larger role in the success than sophomore Malik Corry, who brought his A game into the match. He. This was the first game for both teams, giving Huss a 1-0 record and starting Patton off at 0-1.
Next week, Huss take on Cox Mill at 7:30 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Huss and Cox Mill will really light up the scoreboard. As for Patton, they will face of against R-S Central. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
