While Walnut Ridge put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Izard County. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Bobcats have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Walnut Ridge and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Izard County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Walnut Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-2 victory against Manila on the 31st. As for Izard County, they have also already played their next game, a 17-0 loss against Tuckerman on the 30th.
