Softball Recap: Lockland Panthers vs. Felicity-Franklin Cardinals        
        
		
            Lockland extended their losing streak  to four  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 6-8 in the process. They lost  13-3 to the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals. The Panthers were not able to make up for their  loss to the Cardinals from their previous meeting  back in April of 2016.

  Liselle Bradford was cooking despite her team's loss,   getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kadijatou Sow, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Felicity-Franklin's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
On Felicity-Franklin's side,  Brook Caudill made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off only  two  hits. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  Caudill a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mollie Wilson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Lacee Easter was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Looking ahead, Lockland will head out on the road to  face off against  Indian Hill  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Felicity-Franklin, they will welcome Clermont Northeastern  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Considering the Cardinals have lost four straight at home  and the Rockets three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
