Volleyball Recap: Atlantis Comes Up Short

Atlantis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Avon Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Avon this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 1st.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Atlantis' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Avon, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Coincidentally, Atlantis and Avon will both be playing Rising Tide the next time they take the court. Avon will head out to face Rising Tide at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Atlantis will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
