Basketball Recap: De Leon Takes a Loss

De Leon lost against Graford back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The De Leon Bearcats had to suffer through a 70-32 loss at the hands of the Graford Rabbits. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1177th, while the Rabbits are ranked 515th).

De Leon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Graford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Poolville the next time they take the court. Graford will host Poolville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while De Leon will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
