Preview: Hilton Cadets vs. Irondequoit Eagles
The Hilton Cadets will be home for the holidays to greet the Irondequoit Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Hilton earned a 70-58 victory over Fairport.
Meanwhile, Irondequoit scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Gates Chili 56-37. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Irondequoit has managed all season.
Hilton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Irondequoit, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.
Hilton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Irondequoit in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 63-59 victory. Does Hilton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Irondequoit turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
