On Friday Luke Powers racked up double-digit total tackles for the very first time. He made ten total tackles (1.5 for loss) as Wes-Del fell to Monroe Central 21-14. That new career-high tops his previous best of seven total tackles (the last time he made that many was last Friday.

Looking ahead, Powers and Wes-Del will head out to square off against Park Tudor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Powers has dominated as far as total tackles are concerned (he's averaged 5.6 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Panthers have only allowed 45.67 per game this season.
