Basketball Recap: Raleigh HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Raleigh HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Liberty Christian Patriots, falling 65-33. The Hawks were down 51-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Liberty Christian was led to victory by Jakeem Bradford and Ian Sterrett. Bradford posted 28 points and five steals, while Sterrett had 21 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Bradford is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 25 games he's played dating back to last season. AJ Webb was another key player, putting up four points along with six boards and three steals.

Raleigh HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Liberty Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Raleigh HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-34 loss against Forsyth Home Educators on the 17th. As for Liberty Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-35 win against Southside Christian on the 17th.
