Basketball Recap: Cam Grant's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fisher over Heyworth

Fisher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 67-45 to the Heyworth Hornets. The Bunnies were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Fisher lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cam Grant, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Hopkins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Heyworth, they moved to 12-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Fisher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-44 loss against Tri-Valley on the 18th. As for Heyworth, they have also already played their next game, a 63-52 win against Meridian on the 17th.
