The Hillsborough Terriers will challenge the East Bay Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Hillsborough is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over Freedom.
Adriano Parral spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Hillsborough is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-17 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Hillsborough saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oswald Font, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave Font a new career-high. Evan Isaac was another, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, East Bay entered their tilt with Freedom on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the Patriots 8-6.
Mike Mowell looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jonathan Bryant, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Gavigan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Hillsborough's record now sits at 7-17. As for East Bay, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hillsborough has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like East Bay struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Hillsborough might still be hurting after the 16-3 loss they got from East Bay in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Terriers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
