Jackson Ables posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Rogers: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-13 otherwise.
