The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-19.

Wells' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Brooks, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, Brooks is now averaging an impressive 2.9 steals per game. Evan Mutz was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 18 boards.

Wells' win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Sharon Springs Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
