Softball Recap: Silver Stage Sets Scoring Season-High Against West Wendover

Silver Stage scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Wendover Wolverines. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (12), the Nighthawks still had to take the loss.

Amy Welch was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring five runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Xavier Hines, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 5-for-6.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Wendover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.
