Basketball Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Orem Tigers        
        
		
             If Lone Peak was riding high  fresh off their  68-48 takedown of Alta last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The  matchup between the Lone Peak Knights and the Orem Tigers didn't end well, with the Lone Peak Knights falling  71-55. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in December of 2016.
 Lone Peak's loss  on Wednesday came despite strong showings from  Crew Fotheringham and  Austin Simon.  Fotheringham  went 7 for 13 en route to 19 points, while  Simon  went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points. The dominant performance also gave  Simon a new career-high in  three-point shooting accuracy (33%).  Logan Brimhall was another key player,  scoring four points.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Lone Peak  fell to 2-1. As for Orem, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Lone Peak will face off against Herriman at 1:20  p.m.  on Thursday. Herriman knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Lone Peak likes a good challenge. As for Orem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kahuku  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
