Volleyball Game Preview: Florence Huskies vs. James Irwin Jaguars + How To Watch

The Florence Huskies will head out to challenge the James Irwin Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florence will be strutting in after a victory while James Irwin will be coming in after a loss.

Florence not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Woodland Park.

The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when James Irwin faced off against Colorado Springs Christian on Tuesday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.

Florence's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for James Irwin, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Florence beat James Irwin 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
