Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-42 to the Hedgesville Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly eight points.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Hedgesville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Hedgesville will both be playing Spring Mills the next time they take the court. Jefferson will head out to face Spring Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hedgesville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
