Basketball Recap: Castlewood's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Castlewood had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 48-43 victory over the Thomas Walker Pioneers on Tuesday. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 65-51 loss the last time these two teams met.

Castlewood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Thomas Walker, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Castlewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-40 loss against Holston on the 15th. Thomas Walker has also already played their next match (against Twin Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
