Volleyball Recap: Adams City Comes Up Short

Adams City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Gateway Olympians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Olympians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 8th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-19.

Adams City's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Gateway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Adams City will venture away from home to square off against Aurora Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway has already played their next contest (against William Smith), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
