Baseball Recap: Lake View Has No Trouble Against Fairmont

Lake View lost to Fairmont last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Lake View was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Fairmont. The result was nothing new for the Wild Gators, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lake View has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. Fairmont's loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake View will challenge Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Latta will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lake View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairmont, they will welcome Red Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Fairmont's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
