Basketball Recap: ASU Prep Comes Up Short

ASU Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes, falling 59-11. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the 42-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

ASU Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Heritage Academy Gateway, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

ASU Prep will take on Empower College Prep in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. ASU Prep is facing Empower College Prep at the right time seeing as Empower College Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Heritage Academy Gateway, they will be home for the holidays to greet Imagine Prep Coolidge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
