North Wilkes had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the North Davidson Black Knights as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Knights, too.

North Davidson's loss came despite strong showings from Sara Kate Monson and Maddie Williams. Monson had 15 digs, while Williams had 12 digs.

North Wilkes' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

North Wilkes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Alexander Central on the 18th. As for North Davidson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Randleman on the 18th.
