Baseball Recap: Camden Catholic Takes a Loss

Camden Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Cherry Hill West Lions. If the Fighting Irish were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Camden Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Cherry Hill West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Camden Catholic will venture away from home to challenge Paul VI at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Cherry Hill West, they will square off against Bishop Eustace Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Lions have won three straight at home, while the Crusaders won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
