Volleyball Recap: University Falls Despite Big Games from Nyla Blanding and Quinlan Litke

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

While University was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-15.

University's loss came despite strong showings from Quinlan Litke and Nyla Blanding. Litke had 15 digs and two aces, while Blanding had six digs and two aces.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clinton Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

University has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against International on the 28th. As for Clinton Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Western on the 28th.
