Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep lost against Alleluia Community two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trinity Prep Lions had to suffer through a 63-14 loss at the hands of the Alleluia Community Angels. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-2.

Alleluia Community's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alley McBride led the charge by putting up 18 points. The contest was McBride's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Krementz, who posted 18 points.

Trinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Alleluia Community, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Trinity Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 31-22 loss against Victory Baptist on the 27th. Alleluia Community has also already played their next match, a 55-28 win against Peachtree Academy on the 27th.
