Softball Recap: Auburn Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

With a playoff win on the line, Auburn rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Dothan Wolves 8-6. Eight seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Auburn pushed their record up to 26-16 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Dothan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-22-1 record this season.
