Orono lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bucksport, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Riots put the hurt on the Golden Bucks with a sharp 11-2 victory on Friday. This was payback for the Riots, who suffered a 5-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jack Brewer and Kason Bagley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Brewer tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Bagley didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. At the plate, Brewer went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Bagley went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Andrew Barrett was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Will Francis, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Orono and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Bucksport, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
