Baseball Recap: Seaholm Comes Up Short

Seaholm has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Garden City Cougars. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Maples were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Seaholm and nudges their season record down to 19-6. As for Garden City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seaholm will host St. Mary's Prep at 7:05 p.m. on Monday. As for Garden City, they will welcome Trenton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
