Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View and Denver Waldorf squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0.

Cade Anderson paced Mountain View's offense, picking up ten kills. Anderson got some help from Jose Rodriguez Rios and his 12 assists. Finally, Jackson Jensen kept Mountain View's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Denver Waldorf, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Denver Waldorf, they will head out on the road to face off against Pueblo South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
