Baseball Game Preview: Priory Rebels vs. MICDS Rams

For the second straight game, Priory will face off against MICDS. The Rebels will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Priory has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while MICDS will come in with seven straight wins.

MICDS hit Priory with a four-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rebels fell just short of the Rams by a score of 9-8.

For MICDS' part, LJ Triplett and Sam Deibel did most of the damage at the plate: Triplett got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Deibel got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave Deibel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dunnen McGaughey, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

MICDS' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Priory, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
