Baseball Recap: Binghamton Comes Up Short

Binghamton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Vestal Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Binghamton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Vestal, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

While Binghamton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
