Basketball Recap: Lucas Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lucas Christian Academy lost against McKinney Christian Academy back in November of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 32-21 to the Mustangs.

McKinney Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Elizabeth Thompson, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Petra Westra, who posted six points.

Lucas Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for McKinney Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lucas Christian Academy will challenge Greenville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McKinney Christian Academy, they will square off against Coram Deo Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
