Softball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against Stewart County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northwest lost 14-1 to Stewart County.

Northwest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lacey Perkins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Stewart County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Northwest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-2 loss against Nolensville on the 21st. As for Stewart County, they will venture away from home to face off against Clarksville Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
