Soccer Game Preview: Christian Academy vs. North Myrtle Beach

The Christian Academy Saints will head out on the road to challenge the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Christian Academy has three straight wins, North Myrtle Beach has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Christian Academy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Conway Christian. Christian Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Myrtle Beach came up short against St. James on Tuesday, falling 8-2. While losing is never fun, North Myrtle Beach can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while St. James are ranked 21st).

North Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
