            Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Panthers vs. Hustisford Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Palmyra-Eagle barely beat Hustisford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp  3-0 victory on Tuesday. The  win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three  matchups in a row.
 Palmyra-Eagle never let Hustisford on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-23,  25-19.

 Brooklyn West was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had seven  assists and four  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  over her last three  contests.
 They weren't the only good servers: Palmyra-Eagle  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 15  aces. They  served four more  aces than Hustisford's also-impressive total of 11.
 Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Hailey Pieper, who  had 15  digs and four  aces. Pieper is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Layla Thimm, who  had eight  digs and two  aces.
Palmyra-Eagle's record is now 12-14. As for Hustisford, they dropped their record down to 4-20 with the  defeat, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Coming up, Palmyra-Eagle will venture away from home to  square off against Fall River  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hustisford, they have already played their next matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Deerfield on the 16th.
