Volleyball Recap: Westfield Comes Up Short

Westfield was the 3-0 winner over Wahconah Regional when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bombers fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Monday. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Westfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-10.

Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Wahconah Regional, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Westfield will head out on the road to face off against Amherst-Pelham Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wahconah Regional, they will head out to challenge Lenox Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
