Football Preview: Lindsay Cardinals vs. Corcoran Panthers        
        
		
             Lindsay has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to  face off against the Corcoran Panthers  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Lindsay's defense has only allowed 15.2  points per game  this season, so Corcoran's offense will have their work cut out for them.
 Lindsay will bounce into Friday's   contest after  beating Orosi, who they hadn't topped in three consecutive meetings. Lindsay came out on top against Orosi by a score of  21-14  on Friday.
 It was another big night for  Jose Cortes, who rushed for 194 yards while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.
 Meanwhile,  it was close, but  on Friday Corcoran sidestepped Woodlake for  a  24-21 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Panthers.
 Corcoran wouldn't let Woodlake keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Corcoran can thank  Daniel Sierra and  Daniel Cardiel for forcing both of them. Sierra is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Lindsay now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Corcoran, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
 Lindsay was dealt a bruising  28-0 defeat at the hands of Corcoran in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. Can Lindsay avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
