Basketball Game Preview: East Marshall Mustangs vs. South Hardin Tigers

East Marshall hasn't had much luck against South Hardin recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The East Marshall Mustangs will be playing at home against the South Hardin Tigers at 7:45 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

East Marshall is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Gladbrook-Reinbeck and fell 84-47. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, South Hardin didn't have quite enough to beat Iowa Falls-Alden on Monday and fell 60-57.

This is the second loss in a row for East Marshall and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for South Hardin, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
