Birdville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They never let the Richland Royals onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering the Hawks have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Birdville pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Richland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Birdville and Richland will both be playing Grapevine the next time they take the pitch. Birdville will host Grapevine at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Richland will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th.
