Basketball Recap: John Bartram Extends Winning Streak to Four

John Bartram waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado 72-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

John Bartram's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joseph Mccutchen, who posted 20 points. The contest was Mccutchen's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Dajuan Peak was another key player, putting up 16 points.

John Bartram pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for J.P. McCaskey, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-11.

John Bartram will square off against Central at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. John Bartram knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge. As for J.P. McCaskey, they will face off against Penn Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Penn Manor will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something J.P. McCaskey surely won't give up without a fight.
