Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Flowery Branch dropped to 13-13 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Dawson County Tigers by a score of 2-1. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Dawson County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since August 23rd.

Aspen Rooke was nothing short of spectacular: she had ten kills, five digs, and three aces. That's the most kills she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Addison Priest, who had 13 kills and three digs.

Coincidentally, Flowery Branch and Dawson County will both be playing Lakeview Academy the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
