Softball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington was the 17-4 winner over Wissahickon when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Abington fell 6-2 to Wissahickon on Monday. The Galloping Ghosts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danica Santiago, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Abington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wissahickon, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, Abington will head out to take on Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wissahickon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Quakertown at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
