Lumberton is a perfect 5-0 against Fairmont since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will challenge the Golden Tornadoes at 4:00 p.m. Lumberton has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lumberton came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Scotland, falling 13-2. The Pirates have struggled against the Fighting Scots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Fairmont was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 10-1 to East Columbus.

Fairmont has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Lumberton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Lumberton took their victory against Fairmont when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
