Volleyball Recap: Clemens Takes a Loss

Clemens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magnolia West Mustangs.

Claire Untereiner paced Clemens' offense, picking up eight kills. Untereiner got some help from McKenna Brumgard and her seven assists. Untereiner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Keaton Wilkiewicz, racking up two apiece.

Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Magnolia West, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Clemens will head out to face off against Navarro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Magnolia West, they will square off against Klein Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
