Basketball Recap: Ripon Takes a Loss

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 93-35 defeat at the hands of the Xavier Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Hawks are ranked 114th).

Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Xavier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Xavier beat Ripon by a score of 93-35 on Tuesday.
